In 2012 I conducted a project evaluation for the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (now Colleges and Institutes Canada). The Sustainable Skills Development (SSD) project was funded under Phase II of the CIDA-funded Canadian College Partnership Program (CCPP) administered by the ACCC, and centred on a capacity development partnership between Niagara College in Ontario, Canada, and Walter Sisulu University in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The evaluation included both a document analysis and field visits and interviews with key actors and stakeholders in Canada and South Africa. Project results were analysed in detail and a number of recommendations were made.
